Ok hello everyone, sorry I haven’t posted anything for a week or so, but here is another one.

This app of the week is “Free RSS Reader”

With this app it isn’t so much of an amazing app, but just a basic utility for the usual news reader, blog reader, or whatever your use of RSS feeds.

RSS Reader Logo

My comments on “Free RSS Reader” is that with the latest update you can:

  1. Add any RSS Feed in less than a minute. (if you are fair at typing on the touch keyboard)
  2. There is a new Refresh All Button, with it you can refresh all of your feeds.
  3. It also has a label on the main screen saying how many of the messages you have not read yet
  4. This app is 100% ad free
  5. This app accepts RSS 1.0/2.0 and it has Atom support (including Google Readers Exported Lists)

The Next update should contain RDF support but it doesn’t support them yet.

Well that’s this week’s iPhone App, and I’ll see all of you again

Welcome back everyone,
This week’s iPhone App is the Ebay App. With the Ebay app you can search for items, view the current status of items that you are selling, you can bid on items, you can view the status of something you are watching, and pretty much everything you can do on eBay all in this wonderful app. Here are some screen shots of the app on my device.

Everyone don’t forget, this app is free on the app store.

Well thanks for Reading this week’s review, and I’ll see you all again.

Hello Everyone Welcome Back!!!

Ok today, Apple updated the App Store, in the update Apple has taken a crucial step in improving the overall quality of the ratings in the App Store. Since the store opened in July users have been able to write reviews for products whether they have purchased them or not. As you can imagine, this has lead to many reviews such as “This App should be free…one star!” or “This App Sux….I didn’t buy it but I can tell.”

That kind of thing has littered the store. Its one of the things that developers have complained the most about, because it makes it very hard for the stars which many people look at to judge whether or not they want to try an app, to be accurate.

Thankfully this is now changed. Now, if you want to review an application, you have to have purchased it. That’s not going to stop bad reviews, of course, but it will make it so that people that are reviewing the apps have at least downloaded them.

While that’s great news, Apple made another change over the weekend that I just don’t get. They removed the “All iPhone Apps”, “All iPod Touch Apps”, and “All Free iPhone Apps” links from the main page of the store.

I hope that it will be fixed. Those links are very useful, and help expose audiences to a wide variety of applications. I hope to see them back in the store soon.

Ok that’s all everyone. Thanks for reading, and see you again.

Hey everyone I found this video, it is a time lapse video of a group of people making a Mac Pro out of Legos. Here’s the video:

Bricked Mac – Time-Lapse

Aparrently they made it with the Lego Factory. You can buy it here.

Well Thanks for reading, see you again.

Ok This week is Enigmo.
Enigmo is an iPhone and iPod Touch app that costs $4.99 on the App Store.

Enigmo

Enigmo is probably the most interesting and the most unique game that I have every seen, It is a 3D puzzle game where you manipulate slides, bumpers, and other pieces to control streams of flowing liquid using the iPhone’s and iPod Touch’s Multitouch feature. Liquids (water, oil, and lava) fall from “droppers” and will bounce around the walls of a puzzle. You move and rotate the various puzzle pieces in order to divert the flow of the falling droplets so that they can reach their target. The faster you complete each level, the more bonus you will receive.

If you want to see the app in action click here for some pics.

Well that is this week’s iPhone/iPod Touch App Review.

Thanks for reading and see you all next time.

Hello Everyone,

This is the First iPhone app of the week review, I’m really excited. Ok enough of that, this week is Air Sharing.
Air Sharing Logo

Air Sharing is an iPhone/iPod touch app that’s free only through Sept. 22, it is a file storage application that works with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux systems, it uses the open WebDAV protocol to accept and share files through your file system or web browser. The app conveniently includes thorough setup and access instructions inside a tabbed Help section. Air Sharing adds unique icons to a whole lot of file types and can preview them, including images, Microsoft Office and iWork files, PDFs, web pages. Air Sharing is free for iPhones and iPod touches for two weeks past its debut, so grab it while you can. Read on for screenshots and a quick Windows connection how-to. You can download it from the app store here.

And that is the first iPhone app of the week review.

Thanks for reading, remember, download Air Sharing before it starts to cost money. (before September 22nd)

See all of you again
